Give Claude your server, not your SSH key
SudoWhizzy is a remote MCP server you add to Claude as a custom connector. Claude can then look at your Linux server, run commands, edit files and fix what is wrong, while anything destructive waits for your approval.
Free plan: one server, read-only. No card needed.
Connect Claude to your server in four steps
- STEP 1
Connect your server
Sign up free, name your server in the dashboard and paste the one-line install as root. The agent calls out to SudoWhizzy over HTTPS, so no port is opened and no SSH key or password is stored anywhere.
- STEP 2
Copy your MCP address
The dashboard shows your private MCP address. Keep it to yourself: it is what lets Claude reach your servers, within the safety settings you choose.
- STEP 3
Add it as a custom connector
In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it SudoWhizzy, paste the address and leave the OAuth fields empty. The same connector shows up in Claude Desktop.
- STEP 4
Ask
In a chat, make sure SudoWhizzy is switched on in the tools menu and ask: What runs on my server, and is anything wrong? Claude calls server_facts and health_report and answers in plain words.
What you can ask Claude
Describe the outcome in plain words. Claude looks at the server first, explains its plan, and asks you before anything risky.

The tools Claude gets
Built for running Linux servers and PHP shops, with built-in playbooks for fresh servers, Magento, WordPress, hardening, backups, check-ups, malware cleanup and migrations.
Commands and files
run, read_file and write_file on any of your servers, with every overwritten file kept.
Long jobs
start_job runs installs, compiles and imports in the background; job_output follows them.
Magento and WordPress
list_sites, magento and wp run bin/magento and wp-cli as the site's owner.
Databases
db_query and db_dump use the site's own credentials, so the password never reaches the chat.
Snapshots and rollback
snapshot before risky work, rollback to undo it, and the rollback can be undone too.
Malware scan
Looks for backdoors, skimmers in the database, disguised PHP and suspicious cron entries.
Health
health_report covers disk, memory, failed services, certificates, updates and Magento cron.
Server moves
transfer copies a site straight from one of your servers to another, never through the chat.
Root access, with you holding the keys
Approvals only you can give
Deleting data, dropping databases, touching SSH or the firewall: Claude gets a link and waits. Approving needs you signed in on sudowhizzy.com, so text planted in a log or web page cannot approve anything.
Three modes per server
Read-only for looking around, normal for daily work, full trust when you are watching.
Every action logged
Each command, file write and result, with its risk level, in your activity log. Pause one server or all of them in one click.
Tested on real servers
From our own test runs with Claude Code on fresh Rocky Linux 10 servers.
raw Rocky Linux 10 box to a live Mage-OS shop with OpenSearch, Valkey, cron and Let's Encrypt
maintenance window when a live shop was moved to a second server (21 minutes in all)
planted attacks found by the malware scan in a 40,000-file shop, with no false positives
Questions about SudoWhizzy and Claude
Does Claude get SSH access to my server?
No. Claude talks to SudoWhizzy, and SudoWhizzy hands the work to a small agent on your server that called out to it. There is no SSH key or password to leak, and you can stop the agent at any time with systemctl disable --now sudowhizzy-agent.
Which Claude plans can use custom connectors?
Custom connectors are a Claude feature, so it depends on your Claude plan and Anthropic's current limits. If you can see Add custom connector under Settings, Connectors, SudoWhizzy works. Claude Code works on every plan.
Can Claude delete something by mistake?
Destructive actions such as deleting folders, dropping databases, removing packages or touching SSH and the firewall do not run until you approve them, signed in on sudowhizzy.com. Changes run after /etc is saved, and Claude can snapshot folders and databases before risky work and roll them back.
Do I need to keep the chat open for long jobs?
No. Installs, compiles, imports and scans run as background jobs on the server. Claude starts them with start_job and checks on them with job_output, so they keep going if the chat closes.
Also works with Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor, and any client that supports remote MCP servers.
