Undo what your AI changed: snapshots, rollback and backups
How to undo a change, and why you still need real backups.
What is saved automatically
Before changes, /etc is saved (at most every 30 minutes). Every file your AI overwrites keeps its previous version under /var/lib/sudowhizzy/backups.
Snapshots
Ask your AI to snapshot folders and databases before risky work, for example: Snapshot the shop and its database before the upgrade. list_snapshots shows them.
Rollback
Rollback writes a snapshot back. It saves the current state first, so a rollback can be undone too. It needs your approval.
Backups are different
Snapshots live on the server. If the server is lost, so are they. Use the backups prompt in the Prompt Library to set up nightly backups that leave the server.
Free connects one server in read-only mode: your AI can look, read logs and explain what is wrong.
