Google Analytics 4 MCP

Ask your AI about your GA4 traffic, and see what AI assistants send you

Connect Google Analytics 4 read-only and your AI can answer "how is the site doing?" with real numbers: sessions, engagement, conversions and revenue by channel and landing page, against the period before. It also shows the visits you get from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and other AI assistants, and sets them next to Search Console and your server.

Works with Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor.

How your AI does it

  1. STEP 1

    Connect Google

On the Search Console page of your dashboard, add Google Analytics. Google asks for one read-only Analytics permission.

  2. STEP 2

    Pick your GA4 properties

Choose which properties your AI may read. Each one gets a health check: time zone, currency, data retention, whether key events are set up, and whether data is still coming in.

  3. STEP 3

    Reconnect your AI client

The GA4 tools come through your existing SudoWhizzy address. Reconnect once so your AI client loads them.

  4. STEP 4

    Ask

"Which landing pages lost organic visits this month, and did their Google rankings drop too?" Your AI puts GA4 landing pages next to Search Console pages and tells you where rankings, clicks and visits part ways.

What your AI can read

  • Sessions, users, engagement, conversions and revenue against the period before
  • Traffic by channel, with organic search's share and trend
  • Landing pages for organic search or any channel, with conversions
  • Visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and other AI assistants
  • Any GA4 report: dimensions, metrics, filters and comparisons
  • Real time: who is on the site in the last 30 minutes
  • A tracking health check on every property
  • Search Console and your server in the same conversation

Start with this prompt

Paste it into your AI with SudoWhizzy connected. It fetches the matching playbook and explains its plan before changing anything.

Using SudoWhizzy, find out why traffic to <domain> changed <recently / since date>. Start with gsc_properties and ga4_properties. Compare the last 28 days with the 28 before using gsc_performance_overview and ga4_overview, then drill down by page and query (gsc_search_analytics) and by landing page and channel (ga4_landing_pages). Check google_updates for core or spam updates rolling out at the time, and ga4_ai_traffic for visits from AI assistants. If it points at the site itself, check the server: crawl_report for errors served to Google, and core_web_vitals for the pages that lost the most. Tell me what changed, the evidence, and what you would do, before changing anything.

Questions

Why measure AI-assistant traffic?

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini increasingly send visitors with real intent. ga4_ai_traffic shows how many, from which assistant, to which pages, and whether they convert. Some AI visits arrive without a referrer and count as Direct, and your AI says so.

Can my AI change my GA4 setup?

No. SudoWhizzy asks only for Google's read-only Analytics permission. It can tell you what is missing, such as key events, but you make the change in GA4.

Is my analytics data stored?

No. The request goes to Google and the answer to your AI. SudoWhizzy logs that the call happened, not the data.

Do I need Search Console too?

No, but together they answer more: GA4 shows what visitors did, Search Console shows how they found you, and the server shows what Google could crawl.

Safety on every task: destructive actions wait for your approval, /etc is saved before changes, and every action is logged. How it works.
